About Lehe
乐于心,和与众,与己乐,与人和; 心宽念纯,百病无生。
On the journey of exploring life health, we often reflect: what truly constitutes a "smart patient"? Not long ago, at the Health Promotion Camp held at the Tzu Chi Humanistic Base in Suzhou, Ms. Ci'en (originally named Ms. Zhang) from Qinhuangdao, using her real-life experiences, provided a radiant answer—wisdom lies not just in knowing much, but more importantly, in being able to integrate into a support system with the vision of "a world free from illness", thereby stepping out of fear and towards a new life. The predicament of top students When knowledge confronts the impermanence of life. Ci'en was once a confident "top student in life". She boasted a high level of education, had been exercising for nearly half a century, was passionate about public welfare, and had early exposure to knowledge such as traditional Chinese medicine, nutrition, and insurance. She firmly believed that with her understanding and preparation, she was capable of controlling her health. It wasn't until a small lump appeared on her body that she realized: there exists a profound gap between knowledge and action. Illness brings not just physical signals but also shocks to the soul. Even for someone like her, full of energy and preparation, she felt lost and isolated in the face of true impermanence.
This is also a common predicament for many patients: we may be collectors of knowledge, but we have not yet become practitioners of life.
A pair of hands, a word
The vision of a harmonious teacher and a world free from illness guides us
The turning point occurred when Ci'en contacted the harmonious teacher. The harmonious teacher did not give her a complicated plan, but only provided simple guidance and a firm word: “Don't worry, I'm here.”
Behind this word lies the great aspiration of Professor Zhang Minghui to create a world free from illness, as well as the rehabilitation concept of "Four Methods and Eight Directions" constructed by Lehe. The harmonious teacher represents not only personal care, but also a complete support system: here, we focus not only on the treatment of diseases, but also on the awakening of life and the return to health. Rehabilitation is a journey that begins from the heart, relying on professional guidance, community companionship, and individual practice. This is a solid step towards achieving a world free of illness.
“Follow me.” - this simple phrase is not only a direction, but also an invitation. It means: you don't have to face it alone. There is a path, there are companions, there are methods, and there is willingness.
The unity of thought and action
Become a practitioner of Lehe's four-principle and eight-direction rehabilitation concept
Under the guidance of amiable teachers, Ci'en demonstrated remarkable action: immediately purchasing tickets, registering, and participating in courses. She put aside her past "burden of excellence" and practiced "simplicity, belief, and action" with a mindset of returning to zero.
This is precisely the "smart patient" quality advocated by the "Lehe Sifa Bafang" rehabilitation philosophy: shifting from relying on knowledge logic to trusting systematic methods; moving from self-struggle to integrating into a community of shared practice. When she puts into practice concepts such as "mind guidance" and "treating both mind and body", she is no longer fighting alone, but has become a traveler on the path of rehabilitation and a promoter of the ideal of "a world without illness".
After the event, she changed her WeChat nickname to "Ci'en". This is not only a gratitude towards the Lehe New Medical Tzu Chi Humanistic Base and the amiable teacher, but also a reverence for regaining guidance in life. She transformed from a strong individual who "relies on herself" to a wise person who "relies on the system, community, and belief".
Life illuminates life
From self-help to helping others: the legacy of aspiration
The story of Ci En vividly illustrates Professor Zhang Minghui'sand amiable teacher'sgreat aspiration: may the world be free from disease, may cancer be painless, and may all beings be healthy. Her experience proves that true recovery is not only about physical improvement, but also about spiritual awakening and role sublimation—from a person receiving help to one who can give hope.
She once said: “It seems that the heavens have given me a mission, asking me to come here and help more patients.” This is precisely the life transformation that “Lehe Sifang Bafang” aspires to achieve: after overcoming personal difficulties, actively becoming a beacon for others, and jointly illuminating the long journey towards a world free of illness.
In the willpower,
we embark on the path of hope
Ms. Ci'en's story concludes with a beautiful sentiment: “Good fortune comes to all, heaven and earth are connected, years and months are connected, days and nights are connected... all cells are connected everywhere. "This is not only a blessing, but also a vivid interpretation of the vision of 'A World Free from Diseases': when the mind is clear, the body and mind are harmonious, and the community is united, life naturally moves towards accessibility.
Lehe New Medicine Tzu Chi Humanistic Base and the 'Lehe Four Methods and Eight Directions' rehabilitation concept system are willing to continue to be the companions who say 'don't be afraid, I am here', transforming Professor Zhang Minghui's wish of 'A World Free from Diseases' into support that every family member can feel, rely on, and implement. Here, every story of kindness will become a warm dawn on the road to a world free from diseases.
